without a title number, then select the main feature in the menu and look at the debug output, you'll see which title is played, when the message “switching to track xy” appears.
dump main feature (1 in this example) to vob file

convert to matroska con MKVToolNix

Investigating the device mode pages with sdparm, I came up with the following to make it stop trying to read those blocks over and over again:
sdparm –set=RRC=0 /dev/sr0
